Are you looking for a new Super Star Best Friend ? Then you will have to meet Mickey. He is a 10 pound Approximately 15 month old Jack Russel/chihuahua (guess) mix. With unique black and white coloring. He has a sweet and loving personality and an eagerness to please he will make the perfect companion to an active family. Mickey was picked up as a stray and was in a shelter for awhile so he has anxiety when in new situations. We are working on building his confidence and feelings of security and are looking for a patient and understanding family who has lots of time to spend with him. No long periods of time alone. He gets along with other dogs and doesn't bother cats. Mickey is funny, active, loves to walk and play with toys and his people. He loves to give and get affection and sleeping snuggled in bed. However he will go to his bed when asked. He can sit and knows some commands but will require training to be the best dog ever. He is so smart and fun to be with. A physical fence is REQUIRED. Mickey will be available to be see at Petsmart in Utica most Saturdays from 12-2. Personal meet & greets can be scheduled with an approved application. We show most of our adoptable pets at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday from 11 to 3. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption Fees - Senior : 9 years & up $100-$250 (Price depends on individual circumstances) - Adult : 3 years to 8 years $325 - Young adult : 6 months to 2 years $350 - Puppy : 6 weeks to 6 months $375 -Kittens/cats $100 Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
