Description:
Meet Summer, a sweet senior lady who's owner passed away leaving her without a home. She is a Chihuahua/Mix, 12 Years Old, weighs13 Pounds, is spayed, up to date on shots, and basically in good health acting much younger than her years. She gets along well with other dogs, likes car rides, is house trained and surprisingly for her breed she doesn't bark much. She is taking her time adjusting in her foster home while inspecting every inch of her new surroundings inside and out. Summer is all ready to be adopted and will even bring her own collection of favorite toys with her. Physical fence required, children over the age of 12
********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
