Description:
Benji is a very gentle, smart and loving dog. Benji adapts quickly and will settle into a routine keeping himself occupied ! When walking on the leash he wants to investigate ALL the things however does not run or pull away unless you encounter another pet or person. He loves to have a good game of ball but will lie by himself if you are otherwise busy at home. Would be a good fit for almost any home with astable environment, a yard to play in and someone looking for a smaller dog as a great companion. Physical fence required, children over the age of 10.
********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
