EddieHi there! My name is Eddie and I'm a 12 year old Beagle. I want to be where you are at all times and I don't feel that other dogs are necessary. They tell me I have a serious weight problem but if there is a way to get around my diet, I will find it. I would like you to sympathize with my old dog waddle but you're probably going to notice that I can gallop away fast if I smell something I need to chase. I could ride all day in the car but would prefer a seat, not a crate and would like my window open far enough to air out my ears. I am housetrained but need to go out on a regular basis because I am older. I am a real character. I came from a house that had way too many dogs and now I'm hoping for a new home soon to call my own where there is family to love me, could it be yours? ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
