TuckerI am a very handsome 2-3 y/o Spaniel mix looking for a forever home with a special family. I have not had an easy life and I get nervous at times. I was rescued from a home with too many animals, not enough food, medical care, or love. All my brothers have been adopted and I wish desperately for a home too. I've graduated from obedience school, but I could use more training to build my confidence. I need a family that will take time to introduce me slowly to new situations and people and be consistent in their love and training so I do not feel scared. I love to be active and run and play. I'm very sweet and lovable and love attention. I am house and crate trained. I would do best in a house without kids as I get over protective. I need a fenced yard and activity and training. I would make an awesome companion with just a small investment of time and love. Do you think you might be that special person that has extra to give. ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
