ToffeeHi!!! My name is Toffee and I am a uniquely beautiful Calico/Tortie cat about 1 1/2 y/o. I am very sweet and affectionate, shy at first, but then very playful. I was given up when my former owners moved away. Then the new people didn't want to take care of me any longer, so they just let me out to wander. Then this nice lady let me stay in her barn. I hate being an outside cat. I want to be inside with my people to rub and purr and nuzzle. I have a nice foster now but she has too many cats and dogs and I would really prefer being an only child. Then I can give all my love to you. I am very clean, playful at times and also content to amuse myself. I would make a wonderful companion. Come check me out. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, NOT on a first come, first serve basis.
********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
