GideonHi, my name is Gideon. I am the brother of Rossi, Reed, Morgan, Penelope and JJ. We were all taken to a local shelter - our owners said our mother disappeared but we don't believe that! Our foster mom thinks we are a mix of Golden Retriever and Lab. We are 7 weeks old as of 3-9-10 and weigh between 5 and 8 lbs. I have longer hair and I am a very sweet boy. I love being held and I love all the toys my foster mom gives us to play with. I am working on going potty on newspapers and I have had my first puppy shot and have been dewormed (yuk). I would love a fenced in yard so I can be outside and be able to run and play in a safe enclosure. I will be about 50-55 lbs. when full grown. I love other animals - both dogs and cats - and I love children as well. I will be available on March 20, 2010. The adoption fee of $250 includes current vaccines and sterilization. ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
