SparkyI am a beautifully unique, very happy 3 month old Mastiff/Lab/Shar Pei Mix with movie star good looks and a rock star personality. I have a sweet, angelic looking face with the coolest looking eyes ever, one is light blue, the other is hazel/green, and when you look at me you can't help but fall in love. My fur is soft and golden and I love to get big belly rubs and kisses from everybody. . I am very smart and listen real well. I'm good in my crate and don't make messes, but I don't like to be in it as I have things to do, places to go and people to see. I'm doing fine on my house training. I love other dogs and don't bother the cats, too much. Kids and people are my favorite things in the whole world. I am super sweet and love to play and run around with you. I'm good in the car and learning to walk on a leash. All in all, I'm a very special puppy who would love to find a forever home with a fun active family who would love a sweet, gentle giant. Mastiffs are known for tolerance to children, loyalty, calm dispositions and intelligence. However, we do need a strong, confident and consistent master to be the best we can be. ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
