Penny


My name is Penny and I am an exceptionally beautiful 1 y/o Hound who was given up when I had the misfortune to get kicked by a horse and had my leg broken. My owners were unable to pay the expense for my surgery. Thankfully, a wonderful benefactor was found, and I was able to have the needed surgery. I am completely healed and finally looking for a forever home. One without horses, please.

I'm playful, active, very sociable, love people, attention, balls, belly rubs, you name it, and I love it. I'm just a very happy, eager to please, quick learning girl.

I would do well in a variety of active homes, with a fenced yard and plenty of time for playing. Other dogs and kids would be great. No cats please.

The adoption fee of $250 includes current vaccines and sterilization.

We show most of our adoptable pets at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday from 11 to 3. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.


Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.


Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.


MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
