My name is Poppy and I am a a really fun 18 month Shih Tzu who is very people and pet friendly.

My mom went away and dad couldn't take care of us anymore so I am looking for a fun and loving new home.

I was really matted when I came into rescue, so all my hair had to be shaved and I look kinda funny but I am really a very beautiful girl.

If you are looking for a precious companion and have kids over 5, come check me out. I'm worth it.

The adoption fee of $250 includes current vaccines and sterilization.

Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, NOT on a first come, first serve basis.

We show most of our adoptable pets at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday from 11 to 3. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.

Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.


MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
