Sammie

Sammie is a 10 y/o + senior who's not had a a very good life so far, but he has a heart full of love and a hopeful expectation that a magical new life is just waiting for him.

  Sammie was rescued from a situation where there wasn't enough to eat or money for medical and dental care so he was in pretty bad shape.  His dental problems have been tended to and he's gained a few pounds already. Boy does he love to eat. He's on his way to being the happy healthy boy he deserves to be.

  He gets along with the other dogs and doesn't bother the cats. He doesn't mind kids and he keeps his crate and area clean. He's such a good boy. He was kept outside so he is learning all sorts of neat things like snuggling under a warm blanket, getting belly rubs and kisses. He hasn't quite figured out what's with all the kisses, but he's happy to give a lick or two. He doesn't know what toys are but he's learning new things everyday.

  Sammie hasn't had the best life and we would love to find him a home with someone who has lots of TLC to give. He deserves to learn what it's like to be someone's pampered pet. He doesn't hear, so he gets startled at times and isn't able to respond to verbal commands, but he is very smart and food oriented so he's learning tricks by hand movements. What a super star.

   Sammie doesn't require a lot of special care, just love, time and soft food and he has so much to give.

The adoption fee of $250 includes current vaccines and sterilization.
