My name is JoJo and I'm a 7 y/o lap dog looking for a forever lap of my own. My parents decided to go to Florida and didn't have room for me after all this time and left me here in the cold looking for a warm lap to lay my head on.

My foster mom says I am a very good dog, sweet as can be and am happiest when I'm with my people. I don't make messes. I'm house trained and get along with other dogs, am playful and loving, like to go for walks and as you can see, I'm really cute, too.

If you have a lap for a special dog to lay on, love in your heart and kids over 5, come see me and I'll try your lap on for size.

The adoption fee of $250 includes current vaccines and sterilization.

Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, NOT on a first come, first serve basis.

We show most of our adoptable pets at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday from 11 to 3. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.


Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.


Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.


MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
