IMAGINE!!!

Just try to imagine what it would be like to live your whole life with someone who loves you with all their heart and soul and then they get sick and go away and never come home again. Then you get boarded at a kennel because no one has the time or desire to give you a loving home. You stay there for over a month, until they decide what to do with you. Thankful that you at least have your best friend and companion of 4 years to comfort you and kind caregivers to make sure you are okay.

Then, Imagine, they take your best friend away and now there's nothing familiar left. Then you hear they are taking you to a shelter, but wait, I'm 12 y/o. Good bye Jake, But wait again, The rescue angel says "We've got room for you. We'll find you a home to spend your golden years in." You deserve better than to die all alone and unloved.

Jake is a beautiful little boy, 4-5 pounds, well groomed and well behaved, active and in great shape with plenty of good years left to give and get love. He's so sweet and afraid right now and needs love and reassurance.

We are looking for a special family with endless love to give this little guy. He's not hard to take care of. He can go anywhere with you. We'd prefer he go to a quieter home with no small children. If you think you have the extra special quality of love and compassion, come meet Jake. You will be captivated by him.

Adoption Info
The adoption fee of $250 includes current vaccines and sterilization.

*Note: on site adoptions are available to pre-approved adopters only.*

I will try to be at the Utica PetSmart Adoption Center on Hall Road, east of Van Dyke when we are there. Email or call if you are making a trip and we'll try to make sure I'm at the store. Maybe we could set up a special appointment for you to meet me!
