+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Irish is a beautiful, but sad, 7 y/o Treeing Walker Coonhound trying to find a place where she can belong. She was an owner give up, along with her sister, after being in a home and family for 7 years. Not because of anything she did, but because of allergies. Her sister has been adopted and now Irish has nothing left of her former life and is hoping to start the New Year with a new and wonderful life. She is housetrained (used to being alone for 10-12 hours without messing), likes kids, is calm in the house, trained to an invisible fence and is a loving and loyal companion. She was not socialized with other pets and would prefer to be an only pet, but is going to training to improve her manners toward other animals. She's very smart and should do very well. All of us at MMAR are hoping someone steps up and recognizes her beautiful nature and wants a special companion, so she can have a great new beginning like her sister has. If you can't adopt, how about being a foster.
