Her first year was spent in a tiny pen with little human contact outside of a daily visit for food and water. No love, toys, playtime, and cuddles like a puppy needs. She is now in a foster home that is giving her and teaching her everything she missed out on growing up . Even though everything is new and strange, she is slowly learning how to play, be touched, having a roof over her head, people talking to her, other animals to socialize with and how to be loved. She has a long way to go, but with patience and understanding she will find herself and become a wonderful, loyal companion. She would do well with a companion dog to show her the ropes. She doesn't mind cats, but she startles easy so she should not be with younger children or too much chaos. Please understand she will be timid and needs lots of encouragement to get used to her new life. She is easy to care for and only asks to be near you. She is is housebroken. You will find delight in her simple accomplishments and be rewarded everyday with her beautiful, kind, gentle soul.
