Another poor soul rescued from the streets of Detroit and brought to us by a very kind lady who paid for all of his vetting (including neuter). Thank you Rachael!    He's so handsome and sweet. The vet estimates he's a Lab/Shepherd Mix, between 12-18 months (could even be younger). Whatever he is, he's darling. He was very afraid & sad at first but after a few days of attention & love from Rachael & Anchor Bay Vet, he's wagging his tail & giving kisses.   Description: 35-40 lbs  Black with white chest and paws  neutered with all shots  very gentle, calm, affectionate. Totally non aggressive. You can pick him up, kiss him, pet him... and he is just really calm.  He is great in the car.... just sits and stares out the window and looks at you.... lol. He  was a bit scared and ran if you moved fast but is adjusting quickly and getting used to other dogs.   He will make an awesome pet for a variety of families with time to spend with Cain and continue to help build his confidence. He will need a fenced yard. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption Fees Senior : 9 & up  $100-$175 Adult  : 2-8          $250  Young adult: 6 months to 2 years $275 Puppies:  6 weeks to 6 months  $300   Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
