Max is a way too cute, eight year old Beagle who has moved around a lot lately and would really like to be settled in a nice comfy, loving home.
He was brought to us because his former owner wanted him to hunt so he went off on his own and the only thing he's hunting for now, is a new furever home.
He is very good natured, quiet, house and crate trained and good in the car. He behaves very well with other dogs and his personality is as appealing as his big, hopeful eyes. When he stands on his hind legs, begging and looking at you with those eye, You're a goner, so just give it up.
Max will have to have a fenced yard, he is a Beagle after all. He does not dig or climb but does watch for open doors and gates, so children over 7 preferred.
Come meet this very nice boy and he will melt your heart. Don't say we didn't warn you.

We show most of our adoptable pets at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday from 11 to 3. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: rescueme93@yahoo.com to see if that pet will be there.
Both online and PDF application are available online at http://members.petfinder.com/MI730/ under the links section on the left.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption Fees
Senior : 9 & up $100-$175
Adult : 2-8 $250
Young adult: 6 months to 2 years $275
Puppies: 6 weeks to 6 months $300
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
