That being said, he is also very active, extremely curious, lots of energy ands needs plenty of play time. Poor Dodger was Returned because both parents worked and kept him in a cage for 9 hours and were unable to provide the activity and stimulation he needed. He's Good with other dogs but likes to play hard so, would need any other dogs in the family to be his size so he could play with them! He is 65 lbs. He needs a forever home with plenty of love as he has lived his life in a cage everyday for too long. He’s a beautiful sweetheart, with a great personality, is sweet and joyful, full of love, cuddles and a wiggle butt. He loves to go bye, bye and rides good in the car. Dodger will make an incredible pet for a variety of families that have the time and energy for him. He will reward you everyday with unending amounts of laughter, love and fun. He will need training and direction to focus his energy and curiosity, BUT he is so worth it. A physical fenced in yard is required. ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
