Edgar is approximately 4 y/o, on the large size for a Beagle (35 - 40 LBS) and is one of the most handsome Beagles we've seen in a while. He was heartworm positive when he came to us, but he's been treated and he's good as new and ready for his new home. He's friendly, easy going, house trained, good with other dogs and a fun guy to have around. He was found as a stray and has a very strong small animal prey drive and will need a physical fenced yard and older children. If you are looking for a sweet, lovable Beagle, come see Edgar most Saturdays at Petsmart, Utica most Saturdays from 11 am to 3 pm. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption Fees *Senior : 9 & up $100-$175 *Adult : 2-8 $250 *Young adult: 6 months to 2 years $275 *Puppies: 6 weeks to 6 months $300 Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
