She is a shameless people pleaser, sweet, good natured and loves everyone she meets. Liza was in a trial adoption and was settling in great and getting along with the grandchildren when she had a dramatic reaction to a hair dryer. Her reaction resulted in her trying to herd her adopters away from it and becoming growly and nippy in her excitement. She is now with a trainer to learn some self control and that pulling at sleeves and pant legs is not acceptable. She just didn't have any boundaries in her original home WE URGENTLY NEED A FOSTER OR ADOPTER to do follow up on the new protocol when she leaves the trainer's in two weeks. She deserves a chance to succeed and it would be best to have some experience with or have done research on this loving but hyper and strong breed. Her previous fosters had no trouble with her but have since moved and can't take her back. They were very active with her and she does need lots of exercise and activities. She can't be trusted with other animals so MUST be the only pet. A fenced yard is also a must. She loves people and is very affectionate. She loves walks and car rides and snuggle time. She's playful and funny and talks to you. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption Fees Senior : 9 & up $100-$175 Adult : 2-8 $250 Young adult: 6 months to 2 years $275 Puppies: 6 weeks to 6 months $300 Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
