Well he is safe now and loved by all the volunteers at MMAR who are working very hard to find this super special boy a furever home. Cabot is approx: 1 y/o, a Bernese Mountain /Border Collie Mix with probably a pinch of Lab in him. What an awesome Mix. He's got the intelligence of the Border Collie and the ambition of the Bernie and the sweet, silly, loving disposition of a Lab. What more could you possibly want. He's friendly, eager to please and highly trainable, likes people and other dogs, would probably be better without cats.. He will need someone who has the time and energy to take him to training and keep him busy with a job. He's too smart to be a couch potato. Cabot will need a fenced in yard with a solid base and supervision while outdoors. HE will make an exceptional additional to a variety of active families.. He is available to be seen most Saturdays at Petsmart, Utica from 11 am until 3 pm.. We show most of our adoptable pets at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday from 11 to 3. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption Fees Senior : 9 & up $100-$175 Adult : 2-8 $250 Young adult: 6 months to 2 years $275 Puppies: 6 weeks to 6 months $300 Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
