She was originally an owner give up (along with 2 others) because the owner couldn't get and keep her out of the bitter cold this past winter and wanted to be assured that she would forever be safe and warm. She was recently adopted with her sister, Willow, but was returned due to severe allergies in the family. She is very sweet. She melts your heart with that smile. She's working on house and crate training, loves people, gets along with other dogs and would like a home that has time to spend with her. She will be a joy for a variety of families that like to play and cuddle and pay attention to her. She is very attached to her sister, Willow, & we’re hoping they can be adopted together. A fenced yard is Mandatory & she’s best with older kids only. We show most of our adoptable pets at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday from 11 to 3. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption Fees Senior : 9 & up $100-$175 Adult : 2-8 $250 Young adult: 6 months to 2 years $275 Puppies: 6 weeks to 6 months $300 Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise. MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
