This little snuggly Chihuahua comes with his own Manhatten Mutts bag so he can go lots of places with you. Rio is two years old and very sweet and friendly. He's used to other dogs but at 6-7 pounds needs to be careful of bigger dogs stepping on him. He's working on his house training and doing pretty good. He will make the perfect companion for a quieter home with children over 7 y/o. At six pounds he can be easily picked up and dropped with younger ones. We would like a fenced yard but will consider someone who likes lots of leash walks. He loves to go adventuring. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption Fees Senior : 9 & up $100-$175 Adult : 2-8 $250 Young adult: 6 months to 2 years $275 Puppies: 6 weeks to 6 months $300 Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
