+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Here’s Pepper! Pepper is a beautiful female, brown & black, long-haired tabby cat with big golden eyes. As a sweet little baby kitten, she and her litter mates found their way to our deck back in August, 2018 so we’re guessing she is approximately 9 months old. About 4 weeks ago, she showed up for breakfast barely walking and with a limp. After being seen by a vet, it was determined that she was probably hit by a car and it fractured her pelvic bone in two places. Since then she has been recuperating very nicely in our basement. The vet says Pepper is healing just fine (you can’t even tell she was injured) but she still needs to be crated for a couple more weeks. After spending so much time in our house, we would hate to put her back outside so we are looking for a forever home for her. We would love to keep her ourselves but we already have 4 other inside cats and a dog. Pepper is a loving cat with a gentle spirit. She’ll greet you with the cutest little meow. Pepper loves attention and when she gets it, she purrs so loud, it sounds like she has a motor in her. She loves to play especially with her stuffed pet mouse. She’s funny to watch as she entertains herself with it. She also gets along well with other cats and dogs. Pepper is litter trained. She has also been spayed. She’ll make a great companion for anyone willing to love her and give her the time she’ll need to adapt to her new surroundings! Please consider welcoming Pepper into your home. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption Fees Cats $75 Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
