I am a very friendly female Miniature Pinscher/Beagle mix. Vet estimates between 8-10 years old. My previous owner was homeless and unable to provide a stable home environment and necessary medical care. He gave me over to a nice family when he went to rehab. I was used to eating people food, anything my owner would get when panhandling. Now I’ve started to slim down and like dog food! I LOVE other dogs! My tail never stops wagging! I do have some separation anxiety and howl when left alone because I’m used to sitting on the side of the road with my homeless owner all day. I would love a new owner who wants a companion to cuddle, play with and just let me hang out with him or her! We show most of our adoptable pets at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday from 11 to 3. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption Fees Senior : 9 & up $100-$175 Adult : 2-8 $250 Young adult: 6 months to 2 years $275 Puppies: 6 weeks to 6 months $300 Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
