She will definitely need a fenced yard as she was found running as a stray. Diligence will be needed that she doesn’t sneak out the front door as she can move pretty fast. She has had puppies in the past and may have been used as a breeder dog. Rachel will become your shadow. She is smart and learns the household routine quickly, although she will benefit greatly from training to learn simple commands as she can be stubborn. Her name implies that she likes to hang in the kitchen because that is where the food is. She is house broken but will need a little fine tuning in this area. Rachel is a pleasure to walk on a leash, in fact I give her a strong ‘10’ in this area. Her sweet easy going personality will blend into a home as an only dog, or with other dogs her size and probably cats too. Because of her small size, older children will suit her better. She is neutered and current with her shots. She is always friendly to visitors, does not bark very much, likes to explore outdoors especially to chase away birds and squirrels.
