Sadly, through no fault of her own, at 5 years old, she is looking for a new home. She loves to just hang out with you moseying around. She also likes to lay in the grass chewing her bone! She kept bringing it outside with her at the kennel. Kalani can be skeptical of new people and will bark at them, but it doesn’t take long for her to warm right up! Within a few minutes of meeting her, I was already getting kisses! She does have to lose some weight and would enjoy going for walks. She is on Thyroid meds to regulate her weight.. She’s very good on a leash too! She seems to be ok with the other dogs at the kennel and has shown no reaction-pretty much ignores them. Sometimes she has things to say and will be vocal. But mostly, she is a sweet and gentle girl that is so easy to have around and has so much love to give! Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption Fees Senior : 9 years & up $100-$175 Adult : 2 years to 8 years $250 Young adult : 6 months to 2 years $275 Puppies : 6 weeks to 6 months $300 Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
