I am a 6-Month-Old Pit Bull Terrier Mix puppy who currently weighs about 30 pounds. I am very Affectionate, and LOVE People. I also love to play Fetch and Tug! I came from a BAD Situation and I am VERY GRATEFUL for all the KINDNESS and LOVE that comes my way. Please keep reading. My Sad Story! I was dropped off at a local pet store. The owner could no longer care for me. I was obviously neglected as I was skin and bones. Fortunately a kind person stepped up to take me. They asked All About Animals Rescue to help find me a home. The person who rescued me is actually fostering me. She is teaching me a lot of new things and I am SOOOOO GRATEFUL! Keep reading about my personality and training. My Social Personality! I am a very SOCIAL DOGGIE. I GREET my FOSTER FAMILY with a TAIL WAG and BODY WIGGLE. Once they are home I FOLLOW THEM from ROOM to ROOM. That is how much I LOVE THEM! I LOVE my Foster Family SOOOO MUCH! My Affectionate Nature! I actually CRAVE Attention. I will ROLL OVER for Belly Rubs, SNUGGLE on the Floor/Sofa with My Foster Family and give them lots of KISSES! When they are busy on the Computer or Watching TV I will either SNUGGLE BESIDE THEM or LAY at their FEET! I am just so GRATEFUL to be with a FOSTER FAMILY who LOVES ME!! My FUN SIDE! I LOVE TOYS! My favorite games are FETCH and TUG! I don't always bring the toy back to my foster mom, but I am getting better about it. My favorite toys are Stuffed Animals, Bones and a Toy Football!! My Activity Level! I am still a Puppy, so I do like to Run and Play outside. Once I have some exercise I am Calm and Ready for Snuggle Time!! My Exposure to Dogs! I will run and play with another dog. I do need to be the Alpha or Dominant Doggie as I do not like it if a Dog Snaps or Growls at me. If the dogs are NICE to ME, then I will Play wit them. Ask about my interaction with my foster mom's dogs. My Exposure to Cats! My foster mom has a cat. I showed interest in the cat, but the kitty hides from me. My Experience with Kids! I am currently living with children who are 8 and 15 years old. I am good with them. I will Jump on them when I am playing, so my foster mom suggests children 8 & Up as I could knock over a small child while playing. Training Update! I am one SMART PUP! I am already House & Crate Trained. I am also pretty good at the SIT and COME Commands. I am also working on "Off - Don't Jump" and Walking on Leash! I am EAGER to PLEASE and really do want to learn more Commands and Tricks! Won't you teach me? I LOVE the Car! I have learned that Car Rides are FUN! I will hang out in the back seat and enjoy the ride! More on My Personality! Like I said I came from a bad situation. I am doing well in my foster home, but I do get a bit overwhelmed when going for a walk. I will need a LOVING and PATIENT family to continue my socialization and training. Grooming! My Foster Mom says I am good for Grooming. She gave me a BATH and CLEANED My Ears - I was great for both of those activities. Treats! My Foster Mom says I take Treats Gently. She just feels my Lips and Tongue as I take a tasty treat from her hand. My Best Traits! My Foster Mom says my best traits are my Grateful Attitude, Affectionate/Snuggly Personality and Fun Loving Spirit. Are YOU the Right Family for ME? I am looking for a Dedicated Family who will appreciate my GOOD LOOKS, CHARMING/GRATEFUL Nature, Playful Spirit and Affectionate Personality. I love everyone, but will do best with ADULTS and/or CHILDREN over the age of 8. This is because I am a Playful Pup who might knock a small child over while playing. I would do best as the only pet, but could possibly get along with an easy going medium/large dog or a confident kitty. I am a Healthy Pup! I am a healthy pup who weighs about 30 pounds now. I am under weight, but my foster mom is taking care of that. I am getting a lot of good meals and snacks. I will be approximately 40-45 pounds as an adult.
