Adopt a Dog or Cat from Making Miracles Animal Rescue
Thank you for visiting our website! Making Miracles Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to giving unwanted animals a safe and nurturing environment, medical care, and the preparation they need to find their forever homes. We work hard to match our rescue pets with loving adopters and provide public education about responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spaying/neutering and vaccinations. Meet Ralph Ralph is a lively and spirited 6-month-old Blue Heeler mix, full of energy and enthusiasm. This breed is known for its intelligence and agility, making Ralph an ideal companion for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle. His youthful exuberance means he thrives on physical activity and mental stimulation, which are essential for his development and well-being.
Currently, Ralph is in search of a foster home that can provide him with the right environment to flourish. He needs a foster that does not have any other dogs or cats, ensuring that Ralph can focus on building a strong bond with his new caregiver. A physically fenced yard is crucial for his safety and allows him the freedom to run and play. Additionally, the foster should have ample time to dedicate to Ralph, as he requires consistent training and socialization.
Over the past week, Ralph has been working diligently with a trainer, learning essential commands and behaviors. He needs a foster who can take charge and maintain consistency in his training. As a herding dog, Ralph has a natural instinct to be active and engaged, so it's important that his new home provides plenty of opportunities for exercise. Whether it's going for long walks or engaging in playtime with enrichment toys, keeping Ralph busy will help him thrive and develop into a well-adjusted companion.
Louie has had a tough year, but we are determined to help him live his best life. When Louie came to Making Miracles Animal Rescue, his ears were bleeding, and his skin was red and unbearably itchy. Despite months of treatment while being boarded in a kennel, his condition didn’t improve. We made the decision to crop his ears to stop the bleeding, but his itching persisted—especially inside his ears.
Louie was put on a hydrolyzed diet and Apoquel to manage his condition, but his challenges didn’t end there. While in the kennel, Louie injured his leg on a piece of fencing, leading to an infection that required a stay at the vet. During this time, his vet began to suspect he might have an autoimmune disease.
Despite everything he’s endured, Louie remains a resilient and loving dog. To ensure he has a comfortable and safe environment, we have a foster who is able to take Louie home from Sunday evenings to Friday mornings. On weekends, he stays at a new kennel where he feels calmer, with no visuals of other dogs, at a cost of $27 a day.

He’s a big fan of chew toys and enjoys relaxing car rides. Due to his prey drive, While he’s calm and relaxed most of the time, Midnight can occasionally experience moments of hyper arousal and needs outlets to release his energy. This behavior stems from spending years in a kennel.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who loves to play and explore, Midnight could be the perfect fit for you. He’s ready to meet his forever person and start the next chapter of his life.

Foster Homes Needed
As a foster-based rescue, we don’t have a physical facility to house our dogs and cats. Foster families are the backbone of our organization, and without them, we can’t help as many animals in need.
